This Earth Day, Nonprofits Are Under Threat — Help Protect Climate and Consciousness Work
At Psychedelics for Climate Action (PSYCA), every day is Earth Day. But this week, we face a pivotal moment. As a 501(c) entity fiscally sponsored by a climate-focused 501(c)(3), PSYCA could be directly impacted by reports that an Earth Day executive order is being considered to eliminate nonprofit tax status for climate-related organizations. In uncertain times, our ability to adapt, uplift one another, and stay connected has never been more essential.
Redefining & Building Climate Resilience in NYC
“Climate resilience” is evolving. Traditionally, it has been the domain of urban planners, policymakers, and scientists. However, a new wave of professionals is emerging—those dedicated to fostering inner resilience, helping communities navigate eco-anxiety, and developing emotional preparedness for a rapidly changing world.
In response to Los Angeles’ climate emergency, we are coming together in New York City to discuss the current state of climate resilience: what’s happening today, what’s ahead, and how we can take action.
