NYC: PSYCA Cosmic Community Dinner 6/11 Friends in Town! Bridges to Build
If you've been hungry to take action but aren't sure who else is working on the complex, interconnected issues facing the psychedelic field, or how, this dinner is for you.
We're gathering around Glauber Loures de Assis, core team member of the World Ayahuasca Forum and founder of Kura Alliance, an alliance actively seeking allies to protect sacred medicines and living earth relationships.
Also joining: Jeff Leifer, Founder of Circadian Lab and author of the Psychedelic Listening Project, a landmark report centering grassroots organizers, underground practitioners, Indigenous activists, and thoughtful philanthropists.

NYC: Policy to Practice: Inside the EO with Hadas Alterman, JD, Tonight 6/3
If you've been trying to make sense of what the April Executive Order actually means for practitioners, this is the room to be in. Hadas Alterman — attorney for Americans for Ibogaine, the group that brought the order to the President — was in the Oval Office when it was signed. She's joining InnerMost for a fireside chat with Casey Paleos, MD, to dig into what the order changes, what it leaves uncertain, and what it means to practice with integrity inside a regulatory environment that's still being written.

QCA: An Evening with the Noke Koi - Nomanawa Clan, Ofrenda Fest 6/4
The Nomanawa are coming to New York. Chief Yama Nomanawa, Pajé Sheka Nomanawa, and Txana Ãta and Txana Vari Nomanawa of the Noke Koi Nation will join us for an extraordinary evening of live music, a screening of the work-in-progress film Cura, storytelling, a crafts market, and a rapéh circle, all in support of the Amazon rainforest.
Vari, the Chief's daughter, is the first woman of her village to ever leave the region. Her presence here is historic. The Noke Koi have long kept their traditions close, and they are now - carefully, intentionally - beginning to open to the Western world. BK: How We Build an Ecocivilization 6/6
Described by The Guardian as "one of the greatest thinkers of our age," Jeremy Lent joins Dear Crisis for Metacrisis Salon #11, and this one feels essential. His new book Ecocivilization: Making a World that Works for All (May 2026) lays out not reform, not incremental policy fixes, but a fundamentally different civilization modeled on nature's own design principles: justice, mutuality, diversity, symbiosis.

NYC: Open Garden Weekend 6/6-6/7
Hundreds of NYC community gardens are throwing open their gates this weekend, rain or shine. GreenThumb gardens are volunteer-run green spaces where people grow food, host events, and build neighborhood community. It's a beautiful, grounded reminder that reconnecting with the Earth doesn't always require a ceremony, sometimes it just requires showing up with your hands.

Global: Psychedelics & Chronic Pain - Catch the Recording
One area getting less attention in the policy conversation but no less urgent: chronic pain. REMAP Therapeutics hosted a free webinar on emerging clinical perspectives at the intersection of psychedelics and pain, drawing on NYU psilocybin trial data and work with veterans navigating complex, treatment-resistant conditions. The recording should be available soon via Nevada Center for Pain Medicine on YouTube. Worth watching. Also, check out the Psychedelics & Pain Association.
Italy: MDMA-Assisted Therapy Training
MAPS and MAPS Italia are hosting Italy's first international week-long MDMA-assisted therapy education program for mental health professionals
September 20 - 26 Near Turin, Italy, and this will be the only program of its kind in Europe for the rest of 2026. Lead Trainers Marcela Ot'alora G. and Bruce Poulter will guide an international cohort through inner-directed therapy and the therapeutic potential of investigational MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD.
